- Matt joined the Imperial family in 2005. He's been a member of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP) since 2009. Matt has had extensive training in all aspects of body piercing procedures, aesthetic placement, anatomy considerations, aseptic techniques, metals/jewelry materials, and aftercare.
OLD - Matt Funaiole (He/Him)
Matt is typically available Sunday's, Tuesday's, and Wednesday's. - Laura started her piercing career back in 2013 here in Boise, Idaho. In 2016, she decided to venture out to gain further knowledge alongside other piercers by doing guest spots across the states, working in multiple studios spanning from Washington, all the way to Connecticut. After 2 years of traveling, she came back to her home base of Boise and started piercing for us here at Imperial, full time in September of 2018.

Along with her experience doing guest work, Laura has been a member of the Association of Professional Piercers, having attended numerous yearly conferences, while staying up to date with CPR/FirstAid/AED and Blood Borne Pathogens certifications.

The staff is amazing! The piercers are professional and take every precaution possible to prevent infection. And, give very good after-care instructions….almost sternly which is really smart. I have been in twice now and will certainly continue to support their business.

The Imperial staff is absolutely incredible. I have been going to Imperial for a few years now, and they have all been nothing but chill, creative, kind, clean, and professional yet personal and fun. I have received services mainly from Laura, and a couple from Tabitha. Laura is a piercing ninja - she can make even the most painful and delicate piercings quick and easy as possible. Tabitha was great as well and ALWAYS helps me pick out the best jewelry combos when switching up my pieces along with the other beauty at the front desk (I can't remember her name after all this time 😭) . I will never NOT recommend Imperial to anyone. And I will never go to another place. Their jewelry is extremely high quality and beautiful. Just perfect... everything about my experiences there makes me happy.

Had an amazing time with Laura as she was piercing my septum. She’s someone who I can definitely vibe with and is very professional and passionate in her work, she made sure that I was comfortable, she told me what she was going to do before actually doing anything with my nose and even before we both went into her studio room, she checked my nose to make sure that the piercing wouldn’t affect me negatively. This was my first time and definitely not the last, I look forward for booking future piercing appointments with her.
